The mission of Henderson Community College is to enhance the quality of life and employability of the citizens of our community by serving as the primary provider of
College and Workforce Readiness,
Technical Education and Training, and
Lifelong Learning and Cultural Enrichment.
To achieve this mission, the College focuses on teaching and learning, increasing student access and success, providing world-class student services, fostering diversity and global awareness, enhancing the economic development of the region and the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and promoting the recognition and value of Henderson Community College.
The SACSCOC Fifth Year Interim Report affords the institution the opportunity to continue its review and critical analysis of the many procedures and practices associated with accreditation (both institutionally and programmatically). Reflected in this on-going analysis are the success of our students, the effectiveness of our learning-centered efforts, the use of our resources, strategic planning, and assessment of outcomes. Our faculty and staff have worked hard to ensure that we have fully documented compliance in the Fifth-Year Interim Report.
We acknowledge the work of the Commission on College’s Committee to Review Fifth‐Year Interim Reports as you evaluate our Report through this website. Your investment of time, expertise and commitment is greatly appreciated. We welcome your review and thank you for your efforts.
